ABOUT ME
As a Fashion & Design graduate, I have extensive knowledge of various aspects of fashion and when it comes to talking about business, I graduated my highschool in the field of business and commerce and also, my father is a businessman himself, so I have seen and handled vendors since a young age which helps me to sucessfully execute my job and all assigned tasks. During my studies, I worked as an intern at various places, all of them were different in nature, teaching me various aspects in the world of fashion, from buying to merchandising, to sourcing, visual merchandising, designing, handling vendors, production and handling clients to organising fashion shows and what not. All of this taught me how to work in a team and how to lead a group of individuals in pursuit of a common goal. I was also a part of Jenesys programme where I represented my country, India, in Japan for culture exchange. The entire programme was sponsored by the Japanese government.
In my previous roles, I was always committed to achieve great results and meet all goals. During my internship, I participated and engaged in all the activities and helped my superiors in every way possible and increased the productivity of the entire team altogether. I also monitored the vendor's performance and trained younger interns and updated the filing and rack system which saved a lot of time and resulted in smoother workflow. Along with that, I created strong communication chains and maintained professional relationships with my suppliers, my subordinates and my vendors and I also produced professional presentations. All these experiences helped me to develop excellent communication and organisational skills and important abilities to think critically and solve complex problems
